“The Better Banker-Leader”

The Executive Leadership Program for Rural Banks

Rationale

Competition brought about by developments in the formal and informal financial sectors must be met head-on in order to sustain control of the market. A strong and effective leader transforms an organization to an efficient client-based service provider that will challenge and conquer competition in the marketplace. The training, which provides leadership and risk management tools, will enable rural bankers to be that leader.

Objectives
1. To be able to understand and strengthen the role of a bank executive in the marketplace through the leadership framework.
